Consultation questions

Telehealth Dietitian Consultations

Consultations are now available via secure video appointments, allowing you to access personalised nutrition support from the comfort of your home.

While Northern Beaches Health Coaching was originally based in Brookvale, telehealth consultations now make it possible to work with clients across the Northern Beaches of Sydney and throughout Australia.

What to expect

Telehealth appointments are very similar to in-person consultations and include:

• A detailed discussion about your health, lifestyle, and goals
• Individualised nutrition guidance and practical strategies
• Collaborative planning to support sustainable change
• Follow-up notes and resources where helpful

Who telehealth works well for

Telehealth can be particularly helpful if you:

• Live on the Northern Beaches but prefer the convenience of online appointments
• Have a busy schedule and want to avoid travel
• Feel more comfortable discussing health concerns from home
• Live outside Sydney but would like specialist dietitian support

Simple and secure

Appointments are conducted through a secure video platform. You will receive a link before your consultation and can join from your phone, tablet, or computer.

How to book an appointment

If you would like support with digestive health, eating concerns, or personalised nutrition guidance, please call 02 9939 2277 or use the contact page below.

How long is an initial consultation

Between 60-75 minutes where I ask a series of questions and listen to your story so I can get to know you as a whole person. We discuss your goals, lifestyle, activity levels, medical history and current eating pattern. It is your opportunity to have your questions answered and together we will create a individualized plan to meet your needs.

How do I prepare

Email your referral and any relevant blood tests results from your GP or request the pratice do that for you. Write a list of questions and what you’d like to achieve. If your goals are not clear, having an open mind is all that’s needed. Please note a referral is not required to see a Dietitian unless claiming with a GP chronic condition management plan.

How long is a review consultation

Between 30-60 minutes depending on your needs. We review your progress, identify what has been working, answer questions, further your knowledge and develop strategies to help with any challenges.

How often are appointments

Discussed during your initial consultation and there are no set rules. When establishing a new routine I recommend fortnightly sessions to support change and create new habits. Frequency of visits can be spaced to suit your budget and needs.
